1. Update the system: sudo apt-get update -y
2. Upgrade the system: sudo apt-get upgrade -y
3. Add additional packages if not installed:

sudo apt-get install curl
sudo apt-get install apt-transport-https
4. Download Minikube Binary : wget https://storage.googleapis.com/minikube/releases/latest/minikube-linux-amd64
Once the binary is downloaded, copy it to the path /usr/local/bin and set the executable permissions on it
5. Copying: sudo cp minikube-linux-amd64 /usr/local/bin/minikube
6. Giving permission: sudo chmod +x /usr/local/bin/minikube
Congratulations! you have successfully installed Minikub
7. Check version: minikube version
Kubectl is a command utility which is used to interact with Kubernetes cluster for managing deployments, service and pods etc.
8. Install Kubectl : curl -LO https://storage.googleapis.com/kubernetes-release/release/`curl -s https://storage.googleapis.com/kubernetes-release/release/stable.txt`/bin/linux/amd64/kubectl
9. Give permission to downloaded package: chmod +x kubectl
10. Move the package to /usr/local/bin/ folder : sudo mv kubectl /usr/local/bin/
Now verify the kubectl version
kubectl version -o yaml
Note: For adding “Docker” for Minikube , user following command: minikube start --driver=docker
or minikube config set driver docker
